spider monkeys are endangered because humans are cutting down trees from the rainforests at a rate of a football field every day, and the monkeys are having trouble finding places to live. they mainly feed on mainly eat ripe fruits, but they also eat leaves, seeds, flowers, nectar, insects, and small birds eggs.
