Hello,
in this blog you will have the opportunity to learn about 10 endangered animals. This information will also include about their habitats, and nutrition, description and reason for why they are endangered.
                                                                                                                        Thank you
Why do you think people are killing animals?
What ways we can help the animals?
Why do you thik animals are getting endangered?

Bald eagle

The chief reason of the endangerment of the bald eagle was loss of Bald Eagle habitat and thinning of egg shells. The thinning of egg shells has been sometimes said to be caused due to the use of the pesticide DDT. One another main reason of the decline of the bald eagle population is the poisoning of their prey. The waters of the continent have been polluted due to the vast range of pollutants, contamination of the water ways and therefore the eagle's food source.

Turtles

Historically, sea turtles were plentiful in our local waters, but many human imposed pressures have resulted in a massive decline in their numbers. Traditionally, sea turtles were a popular food source, and the harvesting of both adult reproductive turtles and turtle eggs was responsible for the local decline in sea turtle numbers.  Taking of adult turtles for meat, shells, jewelry, and other products reduced the number of nesting turtles and decreased the production of eggs.  Without eggs, the successful production of future generations of turtles was halted.

Polar Bear

Polar bears are found in five nations: Canada, Russia, U.S (Alaska), Denmark and Norway. However, the rough estimate is that there are between 22,000 to 40,000 polar bears living today, of which more than half live in Canada.Polar bears are not really endanger, but scientist are predicting that from the cause of the global warming they are on the line of danger. Polar bears could become extinct if the sea ice changes continue.

snow leopard

The Snow Leopard (Panthera uncia) is a  large cat native to the mountain ranges of South Asia and Central Asia.  Their exact numbers are unknown, but it has been estimated that between 3,500 and 7,000 snow leopards exist in the wild and between 600 and 700 in zoos worldwide.Snow leopards show several adaptations for living in a cold mountainous environment. Their bodies are stocky, their fur is thick, and their ears are small and rounded, all of which help to minimize heat loss.
The Snow Leopard population  has increasingly come under pressure as a result of poaching for furs, loss of habitat caused by deforestation and dam projects, and loss of food sources caused by similar environmental pressures.

Cheetah

There are many reasons why cheetahs are endangered and the most important are definitely: decline in prey, loss of habitat, poaching, and high mortality of cheetah cubs. Cheetahs once lived in almost all African countries and in large parts of the Asia but today they are almost extinct in Asia, and the number of African countries where once cheetahs lived has increased to 16.

dodo

Mauritius, an island in the Indian Ocean, was the only home of the dodo, a large, flightless bird that weighed up to 14 kg and was very good to eat. Dodos were an easy-to-catch source of food for sailors and settlers.
Having developed in isolation, the dodo easily fell victim to this new pressure. In addition, forest clearing destroyed the bird’s habitat, and introduced pigs, goats, cats, rats, and monkeys became competitors as well as predators.
First seen by Europeans in 1507, the dodo was extinct by 1681. Today it is represented in museums by only parts of skeletons and one complete skeleton made up of many individuals.

    African Elephants

Just like the asian elephant african elephants are endagered because of habit loss and poaching. they mainly feed on fruits and nuts.

    Spider Monkey

spider monkeys are endangered because humans are cutting down trees from the rainforests at a rate of a football field every day, and the monkeys are having trouble finding places to live. they mainly feed on mainly eat ripe fruits, but they also eat leaves, seeds, flowers, nectar, insects, and small birds eggs.

    Dolphins

First, Dolphin and Tuna follow the same ocean routes. When fishermen use nets to harvest tuna, dolphin can get caught in the nets and get fatally injured or drown.

Second, Dolphins are endangered due to the general demand of humans for sea food. Overfishing has contributed greatly to endangerment of dolphins. Lack of food is a major reason for many dolphins to swim into strange waters seeking new feeding grounds.

Lastly, dolphins are endangered due to water pollution. Materials are illegally dumped into rivers and washed to sea, and much is deposited straight in the seas. These materials poison the dolphins and cause health problems, which affect their reproduction, swimming speed and can even lead to death.

    Panda

Pandas are dying out mainly because of one main reason: habitat loss. Their main source of food is bamboo, which takes a long time to grow.
So, when a forest of bamboo was being consumed by them,  they could simply move to another bamboo forest, but as the forests have been cut down the Pandas are finding diffucilties finding food supply.
